In Short

Our new Wellbeing Cafés offer weekly face-to-face sessions on Thursdays for residents of Waltham Forest aged 18 years or older who experience low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or social isolation.

Both Wellbeing Cafés are run from The Lea Bridge Library, offering light refreshments, social time, wellbeing sessions, activities, advice and learning sessions to choose from. These are open to members only.

The details

Women-only Wellbeing Café: Thursdays from 11.30-2.30pm for beginning Thursday 25th July for 10 weeks.

Wellbeing Café – open access: Thursdays from 2.30pm-5.30pm for beginning Thursday 25th July for 10 weeks.

If you don’t live in Waltham Forest but your GP or healthcare is in Waltham Forest – you can still apply.

You are welcome to attend with a friend or a relative; we will ask them to fill in a membership form too.

Activities will be centered on the Five Ways to Wellbeing, and so will provide you with the opportunity to Connect, Get Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give.

Membership

Membership is free and limited to up to 10 weeks per member so we can offer this opportunity to more people.

Members will also be signposted and linked to other opportunities such as activities, groups, volunteering, learning, and training.

Please fill in the membership form with your health-care professional (e.g. social prescriber, nurse, mental health practitioner, care-coordinator).
