What we do:

We offer a range of training, consultancy, and wellbeing initiatives to support and improve mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Our belief

We know that each business’s culture is unique and that creating change around mental health is a complex task that requires a multi-tiered approach.

We want to work with forward-thinking employers who are interested in demonstrating their commitment to corporate social responsibility, reducing lost profitability, and creating healthy workplaces for their employees.

Our team of experts are uniquely positioned to support any business looking to make a positive change for their staff’s wellbeing.

Our Workplace Wellbeing Pledge

Approach to mental health in the workplace

Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest signed  the mental health at work commitment – a simple framework that based on the Thriving at Work standards, using up-to-date research, from UK employers and mental health experts.

We believe the Mental Health at Work Commitment, and the 6 standards which underpin it, are a roadmap that can support any organisation to achieve better mental health outcomes for their people.

Why did we make the Commitment?

We wish to lead the way in implementing each standard for our people and drive change. It’s a way of showing our values. We are declaring publicly that mental health at work is a priority for us — we have joined the growing movement of like-minded employers, businesses and organisations across the UK.

The 6 standards

6 clear standards that have been set to ensure employees can thrive.

Standard 1: Prioritise mental health in the workplace by developing and delivering a systematic programme of activity.

Standard 2: Proactively ensure work design and organisational culture drive positive mental health outcomes.

Standard 3: Promote an open culture around mental health.

Standard 4: Increase organisational confidence and capability.

Standard 5: Provide mental health tools and support.

Standard 6: Increase transparency and accountability through internal and external reporting.

Each standard has a set of actions that help you achieve the commitment.

Testimonials

“The team were really positive about some of the techniques you provided for managing stress and mental health. Some of the things you talked about put the experiences they go through into perspective. I know those tools have helped me identify any issues I have been dealing with and find ways to manage them.”

“Informative and empowering for our staff, especially those who had not had any training in this area previously. Thank you.”

Superb Training – ideal for what we needed! Informative, interesting and very well presented.  Interactive to keep interest and participation high at all times.  This will be of immense value in my work place and is a real take home skill also.”
