Our new Wellbeing Cafés offer weekly face-to-face sessions for residents of Waltham Forest aged 18 years or older who experience low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or social isolation.
The Wellbeing Café is run from Good Shepherd Studios and the Women-only Wellbeing Café is run from Lea Bridge Library. The café’s offer light refreshments, social time, wellbeing sessions, activities, advice and learning sessions to choose from. These are open to members only. Here are the details.
Wellbeing Café – open access:
The Annex, Good Shepherd Studios, 15A Davies Ln, Leytonstone, London E11 3DR; Tuesday’s, 10:30AM-1:00PM.
Women-only Wellbeing Café:
Lea Bridge Library, Lea Bridge Rd, London, E10 7HU; 10:30AM-1:00PM; Thursday’s, 10:30AM-1:00PM.
Further information:
– If you don’t live in Waltham Forest but your GP or healthcare is in Waltham Forest – you can still apply.
– You are welcome to attend with a friend or a relative; we will ask them to fill in a membership form too.
Activities will be centred on the Five Ways to Wellbeing, and so will provide you with the opportunity to Connect, Get Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give.
Membership is free and limited to up to 10 weeks per member so we can offer this opportunity to more people.
Members will also be signposted and linked to other opportunities such as activities, groups, volunteering, learning, and training.
Please fill in the membership form with your health-care professional (e.g. social prescriber, nurse, mental health practitioner, care-coordinator).
