Community Connector
Department: ELFT Community Connectors Project
Salary: £32,067.19 per annum pro rata (SC6, Spine Point 26), including Inner London Weighting
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm). We may be able to consider 30 hours per week, subject to agreement with ELFT.
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 May 2027 (starting 18 August 2026)
Location: Hybrid working across Vivienne Cohen House, 12 Orsman Road, London N1 5QJ, community-based settings and home working by agreement.
Join Our Community Connectors Team
Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest (Mind CHWF), working in partnership with East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) and other local voluntary sector providers, is recruiting for an exciting Community Connector role.
This is a unique opportunity to work as part of local neighbourhood multidisciplinary mental health teams alongside professionals from primary care, secondary care and the voluntary sector.
As a Community Connector, you will support people experiencing complex mental health and social challenges by helping them access personalised, community-based support. You will work closely with individuals to understand their goals, strengths and needs, and connect them with services, activities and opportunities that promote wellbeing, recovery and social inclusion.
You will play a key role in helping people build confidence, strengthen community connections and access the right support at the right time.

About Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest:
We are a multi-disciplinary provider of specialist mental health services and a part of the Mind Federation.
We promote both recovery from ill health for people with recurrent and enduring mental health difficulties and early intervention for those at risk of developing mental health issues, or who struggle with common mental health conditions.
We currently support around 5,000 people a year through a variety of services focusing on psychological, social, economic and workplace wellbeing, and support minoritised communities.
