IRIE Mind in conjunction with Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest are currently recruiting volunteers from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities for our Resilience Programme. The programme aims to train young people to learn practical skills to improve their own wellbeing and mental health. Once trained, volunteers will co design and co-deliver wellbeing and mental health workshops to other young people in the borough of Hackney.
We’re looking for people between the ages of 18-29 with good communication skills who consider themselves to have had lived experience of mental ill health, which could include mild anxiety, low mood and stress.
