London Blue Light Network Service for Emergency Services

As lead for the London Blue Light Network we deliver the Blue Light Programme offering mental health support for emergency services staff and volunteers

Mind’s independent research shows that members of the emergency services are even more at risk of experiencing a mental health condition than the general population. However, they are also less likely to seek support.

As lead for the London Blue Light Network we deliver the Blue Light Programme offering mental health support for emergency services staff and volunteers from ambulance, fire, police and search and rescue services across London.

We can provide:

  • One to one therapy including counselling, CBT, IPT and ACT (12-16 sessions)
  • Mindfulness groups including Mindful self-compassion (8 weeks)
  • Managing Anger and difficult emotions group (8 weeks)

With the support of the Blue Light programme thousands of staff and volunteers across these services have already actively challenged mental health stigma, learnt more about mental health and made positive changes in their approach to wellbeing.

Who is it for?

The Blue Light programme is open to all emergency services staff and volunteers living in London.
