The Wellbeing Centre offers a number of different groups and activities which are co-designed and run in partnership with ‘Peer Tutors’ who have used Mind services themselves and have lived experience of mental health difficulties.
Groups typically run on Thursdays between 10am-5pm and vary between creative, practical and discussion groups including:
We believe in ‘Experts by Experience’ who, having used our services, are best placed to guide it. Our groups are run by professional facilitators and volunteers, with training provided to those interested in becoming a peer tutor.

We welcome volunteers who are currently training or qualified practitioners interested in co-production and peer support. You will need to provide an Enhanced DBS Check and be available for 6 weeks to run 2-hour sessions on a weekly basis.
