This October, Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest is celebrating 40 years of providing mental health support for the community. Help us mark the occasion by taking part in the 40 for 40 Challenge!
The 40 for 40 challenge can be any activity you like based around the number 40 (or 4 and 10!) that suits your skills and abilities. You can complete it at any point during October, and might even want to do a challenge that runs for the whole month – like doing 40 press-ups every day in October
Anyone can take on the 40 for 40 Challenge and pick an activity that works for them – whether that’s running 40km in the Virtual London Marathon, doing 40 press-ups a day or 40 minutes of meditation
Once you’ve picked your activity you can get a JustGiving page set up to join the challenge using this template. Make sure to spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues and let them know what challenge you’re taking on. Sharing pictures and videos of your challenge on social media is a great way of drumming up support for donations, and don’t forget to check if your employer offers match fundraising
